Wise Wizard Games announced the launch of Wacky Wizard Games, a new brand imprint focused on family-friendly, lightweight games. Three games are planned for release in 2024 as part of this new brand imprint: Star Realms Academy, Caution Signs, and Pack the Essentials. If you are interested and attending PAX Unplugged they will have prototypes of Caution Signs and Pack the Essentials. "We are super excited to be adding this new family friendly product line to our catalog. We wanted to maintain the focus of Wise Wizard Games on strategy card and dice games with geeky themes, and have created Wacky Wizard Games as an umbrella for lightweight games with a more whimsical, cute vibe," shared Debbie Moynihan, COO of Wise Wizard Games. Star Realms Academy Forge your own star realms, overloaded with cuteness! A kid friendly but still fun for grown-ups version of the popular Star Realms deckbuilding game for 2 players. A little less math, no reading necessary, but still tons of fun!

Verdict - 3.6

-The cover to this issue had me intrigued to discover what Guy Gardner did to get the Baltimore PD against him. Overall I enjoyed the issues art and flow but what I didn't like is the Rise of the Third Army aspect. What I mean is there was little that pertained to it. We mainly get to witness Guy back in his hometown trying to still be a hero and failing miserably. Something else that puzzled me, and this is probably due to my lack of Green Lantern knowledge pre New 52, but I always though their uniforms were tied to their rings, yet Guy still has his and it glows Green Lantern green when he takes it off. I'm not sure if this is signs of things to come or just my lack of knowledge. The only parts that continue the ongoing arc is that Salaak, who knows that the Guardians of the Universe are the ones who created The Third Army, is discovered by them and imprisoned. The second is John Stewart and Fatality trying to put Mogo back together. I understand each book has it's own story to tell, but my personal opinion is if you are going to do a large story-arc the primary story should involve that. This was a good issue and definitely worth reading, even it if didn't expand on the current arc.
